Obituary for Caroline F. Wightman
Caroline F. Wightman, 88, of Arrow Junction, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2022, at her home due to complications from cancer.
She was born Jan. 11, 1934, in Lewiston to Sam Canner and Clema Miller. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1952 when her father was president of the Board of Education.
She went to work at P.F.I. in Lewiston as a secretary. She married John Albright in 1955. They had one son, Mark. They later divorced in 1966. In 1967, she married Gene Wightman, and the two moved to Arrow Junction in 1980.
Caroline enjoyed horses, her boxer dogs, snowmobiling, camping, ATV trips and many winters in Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Clema Canner. She is survived by her husband, Gene Wightman, of Arrow Junction; brother, Sam (Shirley) Canner II, of Lewiston; son, Mark (Brenda) Albright, of Boise; grandson, Mick (Kristy) Albright, of Boise; and great-granddaughter, Avery Albright, of Boise.
