Obituary for David Barfty
David Barfty, 72, of Lewiston, died of cardiac arrest Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston.
He was born Oct. 1, 1950, in Clarkston to Myron Barfty and Violet Atkinson Glenn Barfty.
He was a retired oil field worker of 25 years, as well as logger, plumber and Salmon River rafter.
David attended school in Lewiston, graduating from Lewiston High School in 1969.
He married Kathern Walker on Dec. 11, 1993, at the Hitching Post Wedding Chapel in Coeur d’Alene.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Myron Barfty and Violet Barfty.
He is survived by his wife, Kathern, of Lewiston; brother-in-law Hal (Brenda) Walker, of Lewiston; stepdaughter Stephanie (Eli) Raymond, of Lewiston; sister-in-law Teresa Walker, of Lewiston; brother Doug (Victoria) Glenn, of Lewiston; best friend and cousin Patrick Manning; many nieces and nephews; and numerous friends and neighbors.
