James W. Stephen, 59, of Clarkston, passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023. He passed at his Clarkston home with his family by his side.

He was born in August of 1963 in California to Jerry and Barbara Stephen. He attended all of his schooling in California and graduated there as well. He moved to Lewiston in 1993 and then to Clarkston in 2019.

He worked at a variety of locations. He owned and operated Green Feet Lawn and Landscape for over 10 years.

He is survived by his fiancée Trina Jobe, his sister Sheri Duthie, two nieces, Amber and April and their children, his aunt Barb and many cousins. He was preceded in death by both parents.

He was a gentle soul that was always willing to help. It was said that he was a great uncle that shared his love of cars and taught the art of driving a clutch. Even after he closed his business he continued to mow the yard, pull weeds and trimmed the trees at his aunt’s house. He was very particular about everything he did.

He loved working on his truck, he collected old cars, and he loved his dogs. He made many friends all over the valley while doing lawn care. He enjoyed visiting his friends and family.

He will be missed by all those who love him.
