Dad took his last jump from this world on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at 11:25 a.m. He was 94, six months from being 95.
Dad was in the Korean War from 1950-51. He made two jumps behind enemy lines. One jump in Pyonggang and one jump in Songchon. He served three years in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper and three years in the Marine Corps as a machine gunner.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Lori in 2009. He is survived by his kids, Brad Dean, of Lewiston, Ronny Dean, of Klamath Falls, Ore., Johnny Dean, of Lewiston, Kelly Dean, of Beaverton, Ore., and Tami Dean, of Lewiston.
His service has already taken place.
