Obituary for Russell L. Ruddell

Russell L. Ruddell passed away Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, because of complications from diabetes.

He was born in Lewiston to Ron R. and Donna (Bonnalie) Ruddell on Sept. 7, 1957. He attended grade school, junior high and high school in Lewiston, graduating in 1976.

After graduation he began working as a carpenter. He also built several pieces of furniture for his house and a beautiful tea cart for his mom. He was very particular in all his work, whether it was woodworking or working on cars.

He moved to Las Vegas for a time where he attended HVAC school. He returned to Lewiston and was employed at Inland Metals then Lewis-Clark State College, and finally Washington State University as an HVAC mechanic. He retired from WSU when he became disabled.

Russ was preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his dad, Ron; brothers, Ron E. (Bobette) and Roger (Doris); son Christopher; daughter Andrea; and five grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens.
